Roger and I were classmates back in Biscoe,NC . We had great times together all through high school. Wished we could have stayed in touch as adults. I'm sure we'd both have wonderful grandchildren stories to share. So sad to hear of the passing of such a good friend and big part of my childhood. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

My heart is saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I looked forward to seeing him and his family every year at the NC State Fair in the Village of Yesteryear. He was a genuine person with a huge heart. I remember how his eyes would light up whenever he spoke of his grandchildren. You could tell that he was very proud of his family. My prayers are with you all.
