Dot was an incredible woman, mentor, leader, creator and motivator. I met Dot when she was the Director of Food Service in Fairfax, VA when I visited her school district to learn how a school district this large handled the free and reduced application process. I was in Wake County schools at that time. After she started her company inTeam, Dot did several training sessions for Wake County. After I retired I worked with Dot several times on contracts with school districts. I admired her tremendously and learned much from her. We continued to keep in touch with Christmas cards. I am so very sorry to learn of her death. I had the best intentions of getting up with her after she moved to Chapel Hill. It is so disappointing that I never made that call. You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of this very special lady. Elaine Hunt
