Sam, As you know your caring and loving wife taught me all I needed to know to become a wonderful teacher, mother and friend. She inspired me in more ways that could be expressed in words, My heart is breaking simply because hers is. She loved you with all her heart and life. I remember the day I walked into Efland Cheeks and showed her my engagement ring from Clint. She wished me for me to be as happy with him as she is/was for you. I became part of your family. I fell in love with Missy the second I met her. You were so lucky to have a daughter who loved you as much as she did and a Jackson who is simply amazing. I promise to to you now that I will spend more time with your amazing family. I know you are with good people in heaven now, but please know that your family loved you with all their heart. I promise to you here and now to spend more time with my dear friend, meet for lunch, and allow the boys to play at the park more like we should have. Life is short and I will not leave your best friend/wife/amazing woman lonely. You live your life with God and I will try to support her and Missy and much as I can. This I promise!!
