We deeply regret the loss of dear David. David was a member of our wonderful Forest Hills High School Class of 1968. My classmates and I have many fond memories of David. He was a great guy and a true friend. He spent a lifetime in service to humanity helping young people. He touched a large number of lives in a very positive way. He will be greatly missed. We wish comfort and peace to you and all of David's family during this difficult time. But we can have complete confidence that our friend David is now in a much better place.
" In my Father's house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2 KJV
Love to all, Wes and Deidre Vick

Mr. Morgan was a great man! I was inspired by his kindness as an administrator during my childhood at Efland Cheeks Elementary School.

David Morgan was one of my water students at the Triangle Sportsplex for years and years along with his wife Pam. Two finer people do not exist on this planet. David was a joy to be around in the pool and out. He always had a funny comment, snide remark, or hilarious retort to contribute to every conversation we ever had. He was not just a funny guy but also a truly sincere and caring individual who always had time to listen to all the children he crossed paths with in his life as well as his friends. Additionally, he was an animal lover and I loved his stories about Fred and Sousa and the many animals he shared his life with. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the entire community in which he lived. My deepest condolences to Pam, daughter Katharine, son Jamie and grandson. Sharon Harkavy and family

I have many wonderful memories of visits with my Uncle David and Aunt Pam at various family gatherings since I was a kid. Uncle David was always a joy to talk to. He was genuine, thoughtful, and always quick with a witty retort or funny story. I had no idea until now he had to learn to coexist with a cat! He was a good man and will certainly be missed.

Dave and Pam Morgan were building their house on Blueberry Lane the same time as Gary and I. Honestly the best neighbors anyone could ask for - Pam always bearing gifts of fresh cut flowers, baked good and fudge to folks on Blueberry for no special occasion. I was especially thankful to David for taking over the road maintenance - and appreciated his thoughtfulness. Even though I recently moved from Blueberry (after 33 years) I will have pleasant memories of him watering the plants at the entrance and walking his best buddy, Fred. Much love to Pam, Katharine and Jamie. Linda Jacob

David was my assistant principal for most of the 14 years I taught at Stanback Middle School, but he was much more than that-he was my friend and supporter. He and Alton Cheek were a “ dynamic duo” who helped to make my time there a wonderful teaching experience. I also enjoyed the most interesting birthday parties in his and Pam’s home. David will be sadly missed by many, including me. Linda
