As we journey along in this world, many people come and go in our lives. Among the multitude, are some that we are the better for having known. Claude was one of that exclusive number. Daddy greatly valued both their professional relationship as members of the NCSHP and also their friendship over the years. As we pass by the wallpaper that Claude so skillfully hung in our home many years ago, we are reminded that things such as home decor are fleeting, but the influence of a good man is unchanging. We think we'll hold on to both. Our prayer for the Wade family and all of us who are feeling a little less whole, is that God comfort and sustain us in the days ahead. Chuck, Gina and Sarah Edwards

Brother Claude aka CW aka (D-538)was a true example of a dedicated public servant. I had the distinct honor and pleasure to witness his professionalism when I was a young officer in the late 80's and 90's. I will miss his Facebook humor and his garden reports. Claude was in my Patrol Dist. 5,you could always count on him if needed. He was a troopers trooper and portrayed a great organization. He loved his job!

Many prayers for Ret. Trooper Wade's family and loved ones. He was such a wonderful man and always had a smile on his face the few times I saw him. Mike spoke highly of him.
