Peter had been my Friend and Running Buddy in Track & CC in High School. He's easy to pick out in these two group photos. We had been out of touch since shortly after that time. I had thought about him many times over the years, and finally made a serious attempt to reconnect just now, only to see his obituary. To Peter's Family, He was a great Guy even then. -Scott.

What a great Duke MBA classmate...I have fond memories of working in small groups with Peter. Such a contributor and so easy to get along with. My condolences to the family. RIP Peter.

I will miss Peter dearly. I sat across the table from Peter for about a year starting mid 2017 when IBM moved to an open office environment. We were face to face much of the day. Needless to say, I got to know him well then and admired so many things about him. He had a long list of incredible strengths. One strength in particular, like Andy Griffith on Mayberry, he always seemed to know how to put the right emotional tone on any situation acknowledging the feelings people had as well as the details of the situation. He could make anyone smile and teased everyone in fun equally. He was a big UNC fan having season basketball tickets, As a big Duke fan he never invited me :-(. We use to buy each other what we called "consolation coffee" at the Starbucks at work. If UNC beat Duke he would console me by buying me coffee. If Duke beat UNC, I'd buy him coffee. Around Peter you were not just a co-worker, you were first a person and a friend. We talked about his building a castle for his wife. I remember him saying, "Kirsten has put of with me and she is the love of my life, if she wants a castle, that is what I'm going to give her!" I had to smile when he said he had to "Draw the line" at adding a moat! While I've never seen it, Peter said they compromised with a bridge in the front. I'm sure he was never happier than when he was working on his home "The Castle" . Working virtually from home I remember see piles of wood in the background thru his computer camera. My deepest condolences to his family members, and many other friends, Like me, I'm sure you feel blessed by having had Peter as part of your lives.

A truly remarkable colleague, coach, teacher, mentor, and friend. The world was a better place for having allowed us to have Peter intersect our lives. It has been many years since he coached our daughter, but I still bring up quotes and lessons learned at that time..... trying every position (so you learn how it all fits and find what is your spot), the importance of being on time (which means early :)). importance of team, and the why you do something (still have the lesson plans). These worked for the players, but as a parent and colleague, I learned something too. God bless

Peter lived that life. The sky is crying. Godspeed my friend.
