My memory of Glen began in childhood, in visits between our families. Whenever we saw each other, he had a big smile and warm greeting. He was a delightful conversationalist and knew something just about everything. Since moving to NC seven years ago, we renewed our friendship with Glen and we appreciated the big change in Glen: more settled, at peace, and even greater warmth and gladness. One thing I shall never forget Glen saying several times, "If it weren't for my brother James, I wouldn't be here today!" It was humbling to consider that the power of prayer is all we need to make a difference in the lives of others even if we are limited in some capacity. Saying "Good-bye" to Glen brings such comfort knowing that his soul is not lost! JOYCE QUINN

I only got to meet with Glen but only visited with him a few times, but I just wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to the family, especially my Aunt Gail Coleman, my cousins Aaron and Sally Coleman. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

What a surprise to hear about Glen. I am 91, so 66 seems so young to me. But, we know God's timing is perfect, and we do not put a question mark where God puts a period. Kind sympathy to a dear life long family I value very much. Betty Weiland Droel

Glen was a good friend with a good testimony. We will miss him very much. but his memory will be with all of us. In fellowship his words were so helpful and when we couldn't be in fellowship, he would post helpful messages which were a lot of encouragement. His personality and friendship will sorely be missed, he always had a smile and kind word for all. Our earthly loss is Heaven's gain. Prayers for Florene and all the family. your sister in Christ, Sandra Steen.
