I just learned of the departure from this life of my friend and mentor. He was medical director for EMS in Johnston County and taught several classes to those in the Paramedic program. A great guy whoe will be sorely missed.

One of the best doctors I have ever worked with!! Sweet and kind and always willing to teach us. His bedside manner was the absolute greatest I’ve ever seen. He became a friend to so many of us. His death is such a lost. My condolences to his family and friends.

Heaven has gained one of the best MD ever!! Dr. Guha helped develop what UNC Johnston Health is today. My sincere condolences to all the family. He will always be remembered for his work and his cowboy boots. Rest in Peace Dr. Guha you will be missed!

It's painful to see an amazing person move one. Dr. Guha was my first mentor in the medical field and probably the greatest inspiration for my pursuit in becoming a doctor. Not only was he knowledgeable in the medical field but Dr. Guha always made his patients and fellow medical team members feel as though they mattered. I worked with Dr. Guha at UNC Johnston where he served as the EMS Medical Director and ED Medical Director. I have many memories of the patients he took care of and helped get to a better state of health.He worked tirelessly to bring the ED and EMS to a higher level of competency during his tenure, He was a great physician. I will always cherish the times our lives and paths crossed in the ED and with EMS, as he taught us many great things about medicine and humanity. I am truly saddened to know he is no longer with us. May God’s Grace be with the family during this time. Connie Grady, RN
