Jean was a bright light in Rays and my life. Every time I would be at church, I could look to my right and I would see Jean (mama as I called her)...she would always greet you with that loving smile and hug....she would treat you like family and make you feel right at home around her, like you have known her your whole life.. I am honored to be able to call her MaMa....I know that she is dancing amunst the angels, because she is one...God called a precious one home to be with him. and I know that I will see her one day. Debbie, Randy, Johnsie, David, Mike, Angie: I know Jean (mama) loved each and everyone of you so very much...I know a part of you went to heaven with her .... and knowing that you and I will see her again her again gives me happiness and warmth in my heart....

We already miss the absence of Granny. She was such a kind, loving, warm woman. She will always be the heart of the family never one to want to sit down and watch others cook or set the table during family gatherings. Her hugs always came with a squeeze it’s as if she wanted you to truly feel the love she had for you. She welcomed me into the family and loved me like a granddaughter. I’ll always remember her hugs and I swear I could feel her love for me through them. Her legacy remains through her children and grandchildren. She raised a loving family and I’m so happy to be a part of it. -Rae Granny was always so sweet asking about me and how I was doing up in New York when I modeled whenever I would come back home. She loved to tell everyone she has a grandson modeling up in New York. Her love and support really meant a lot to me. No matter what dreams I set out to do I always knew Granny would be the first one to tell people how proud she was of her grandson Zach. I know how much she truly loved my boys Brandon and Greyson too. I remember when we took Brandon down to the beach with us. It's a family vacation we all take together during the summertime and Brandon mentioned how he went back to the beach house and Granny fixed him lunch. They just sat together and had lunch on the deck. It was the sweetest thing to see just the two of them sitting there together. Although we will miss her and her love we know she is with God in a better place and it eases our hearts that Granny has gained her wings. -Zach
