William was such a kind man and I enjoyed working with him in dog rescue. I wish the world could be filled with more people like William- we will all miss him!

The Dash
by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning...to the end.
He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but said what mattered most of all was the dash between her years.
For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own, the cars..the house...the cash. What matters is how we lived and loved and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard; are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged.
To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile...remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read, with your life's actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?
William Elliot Gonzalez you knew how to live your dash! May we all be so fortunate! ❤️

Dear William, Maria, and Family... I am so very sorry for your loss of William.
Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may sometimes seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).
Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences…. John

What a wonderful full life he lived. I can see he was just as kind hearted as the other family members that I know. I know you will all miss him terribly. My heart goes out to you. My prayers go up for you.

We would like to send out deepest condolences to Todd and the family and friends of William. He was a man with a heart as big as Texas. The first time I met him was at his house when he was interested in fostering a dog that needed help for CARE. He had the warmest smile and I knew instantly he was a good soul. He took the time to show me the wall pictures of his family and was so proud of his heritage. I also met Todd when bringing another foster dog over and both of them had a genuinely kind heart and so caring with the dogs. I am so so sorry for your loss and the void that he leaves behind. He was truly an admiral man with so much love to give.
Chances Angel Rescue is honored to be mentioned in his obituary as a long-lasting tribute to William's memory. Prayers of peace and comfort from your wonderful memories of William. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of GOD.
With Love, Rhonda Beach and the CARE team.

William saw Pepe's picture at the shelter and knew he had to do something. He responded he would foster Pepe' and the very special bond began between him and Pepe' which ultimately became part of his family. They were instantly bonded.
