God will sustain you with his "right hand of righteousness" as you go through each passing day. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God! I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Isaiah 41:13 I "am grasping your right hand, the One (God) saying to you,..'I will help you. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

Margaret, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Despite his health problems, I always thought of Richard as invincible Unfortunately, Edna Faye's memory continued to fade and it was necessary that she enter DuBose for mental care in September after celebrating her 80th birthday. She did not remember our more recent visits, but insisted on writing you a note. Sadly, she was unable to get beyond the date (May 8, 2017). My best to you and the family as you continue to celebrate Richard's life.

In 2009, you and Richard opened your home and hearts to us when our daughter was at Duke in critical condition for 20+ days. She worked with Richard, Jr at Bald Head Island and you all had never met us, yet you surrounded us with prayers, your love and God's love then and many times to follow. Hearing of Richard's passing was a shock since he had seemed so much his usual self when we sat together at the Young Life banquet just last month. We are so thankful that we had the opportunity to fellowship together that evening. Your whole family has come to mean a great deal to our family over the years and we share deeply in your loss. Richard will be missed by many, most profoundly the family that loved him so much. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of grief. Margaret & family, I hate that I have to write this now instead of saying to your face. Margaret, you and Richard meant the world to me when I first moved to Durham in 1977 just out of college. I can't remember the name you had for those after church lunches where we discussed the sermon with Ed and all these folks sat all over the floor in your house. I felt instantly at home and knew I had found a terrific community. You loved on all of us like a surrogate mother. I have been in numerous churches since and I have never seen anything like it again. Rest assured that there are so many others that would tell you the same. May God bless you in your grieving. Of course we are grieving with you over the loss of your Dad. He and your mother were always warm, welcoming and a big part of our lives through Rachel's relationship with Andrea as well as our life together in fellowship with then at Blacknall. He was the perfect picture of a father who loves his children, taught you all well and continued to pray for you all throughout his life here on earth. Now he is enjoying perfect peace and joy in a world where there's NO WAR, NO POOR and NO FEAR. I know he's rejoicing this Christmas because it will never end and he's there with Jesus making intercession for all of us who are left behind to keep fighting the good fight of faith and winning as many to that faith as we can take with us from here. We brought nothing with us into this world and all we can take us will be there waiting for us when we finally get HOME to where your Dad now rests in peace. Love you all !! The Kolbinskys
