Growing up, I had the pleasure of watching this man model excellence. As a father, as a grandfather, as a father-n-law, as a true and honest man of God. He was what I pictured as a model "Biblical Leader" of the home. To me...he was Dad. Greet me always with a kind smile, a hug and a kind and loving word and oh, how I loved to hear him laugh. In my youth, I had the pleasure of watching this wonderful man model excellence in all areas of life. As a father, as a grandfather, as a husband, as a real Biblical leader of the home. I grew up looking at him as a dad. There was such magnetic peace in his home...his hugs were real and he always had a hug and a kind word, no matter what the circumstances! One of a kind!
