Obituary of Fannie Mae Porterfield

Fannie Mae Porterfield, 94, of Hillsborough passed away February 20, 2015. She was born November 9, 1920 to the late Arthur and Mettie Laws Cash. In addition to her parents Fannie was preceded in death by husband, Claude William Porterfield; son Tommy Porterfield and grandson Tommy Porterfield. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Virginia Graves and husband Bob, Kenny Porterfield and wife Shirley, James Porterfield and wife Debbie; sisters, Pearl Hawk, Brenda Eyl; Brother, Lester Cash; grandchildren, Gina VanBenthuysen, Amy Graves, Nate Porterfield, Zach Porterfield, Laurie Condoret, Tabitha Henderson and 6 great grandchildren. Service will be 11 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 - 8:30 PM Monday, February 23 at Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough.
