Casey, Both Dustin and I were deeply saddened by your Dad's passing. Through the years as I watched you grow from a cute little girl to a beautiful young woman, I also saw the unwavering adoration, love, and complete devotion to you in your Dad's eyes.
The love that your Dad had for you is something that many people never get to experience. Dustin would often comment to me that he wished so much that he had a father like yours.
I loved watching you run around on the golf course when you were a girl and I know your Dad loved watching you too. He also enjoyed watching you grow up to be the strong, caring, successful young woman you are today. I know you wish he could stay with you much, much longer.
Please remember that love never dies Casey-not the kind of love he had for you. He loved you from the moment he first held you as a newborn and he will continue to love you. I hope that you can draw strength in knowing that you were truly loved and that your Dad may be gone, but he lived his life well and left behind a young woman that any parent would be proud of.
