I knew Erin from our summers at Lutheridge. She was a few years older than I was and she was so kind to me. I remember Erin being so beautiful and so mature. I loved her laugh and her incredible energy. I am so very sorry to read of her passing. I had always hoped to see her again.

I also knew Erin at Culbreth and CHHS. She was one of the warmest and most welcoming people to me when I first moved to Chapel Hill, and I will always remember her for that. My sincerest condolences to the family.

I knew Erin at Culbreth and at CHHS. Mrs. Koontz used to drive me home sometimes--I lived right near the high school. Erin was always larger-than-life to me, with a big smile, a booming laugh and a presence that sparkled. I hadn't seen her in years, but she is missed by me and many others in our class. Sending love.
