Obituary of Melody Ann Overman

Hillsborough - Melody Ann Overman was granted her wings on November 27, 2015. Melody's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her kindness will forever be changed. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. With Melody's passing we remind others that her life is on to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, especially her winning smile, she will forever remain in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be her family. Those left to cherish her memory are sister, Rebecca Overman; paternal grandparents, Terry Overman & Gene Overman; parents Elizabeth and Wesley Overman; maternal grandparents, Ann & Roger Mulnix, uncle, John Overman and his wife Elisha; paternal great grandmother, Helen Lopez; great aunts, Rosa McGinty, Rhonda Saar, Peggy Sanchez; great uncle, Sam Ezell. Service will be 1 PM Wednesday, December 2 at Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough with Pastor Rich Greenway officiating with burial to follow in Union Grove UMC Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home
