Whenever I think of you Mabel, I immediately have fond childhood memories. You have touched so many lives in such positive ways. It was always a pleasure to share the love of nature with you. You always told the most interesting stories. You made me grow to appreciate the simple things in life everytime we could spend time together. I will miss you Mabel. I am thankful for you and how you have always been such a wonderful friend to Granny Henri. I am grateful for you and proud that we are family. I will miss saying good bye to you tomorrow in person, but please know I will always have a piece of you with me always. I will do my best to help share your goodness to all. Reid, Merrie and I send you love. We send blessings to your children as you have gone to join the Angels. They will be amazed by your lovely green car as you zoom by in the clouds. Julie Byers

My memories of Mabel were when I was a young mother of two boys and a neighbor of Mabel & Ernest. Both were always available when they were needed. Mabel loved animals. I remember when she took in a baby squirrel and basically gave it one of the bathrooms in their home. She finally had to let it go but continued to feed it outside. She also took in our dog, Chi-chi when we couldn't take her to our new apartment. I hope she knew how much we loved her and appreciated her. I know how difficult it is to lose your mother and pray God gives you peace. She will always be in your hearts. Love you all, Candi Myers
