Obituary of Phyllis Morris Lineberry

Mrs. Phyllis Morris Lineberry, 77, of Liberty, NC died January 22, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Lineberry was born in Durham County on June 18, 1938, the daughter of Moody Morris and Nettie Cooke Morris. She was a retired machinist in the furniture manufacturing industry. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jill Lineberry of Winterville, NC; their children, Katelyn and Will Lineberry; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Earlene Morris of Chapel Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy M. and Bob Andrews and Brenda M. and Eddie Crain, all of Chapel Hill; a sister-in-law, Ann Morris of Carrboro; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Morris; and sisters, Ruth and Carolyn Morris. The funeral service for Mrs. Lineberry will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 30, 2015 in the chapel of Walker's Funeral Service and Cremation of Chapel Hill. Rev. J. David Atwater, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, will preside. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home for an hour prior to the service.
