I am so very sad to hear of Bruce’s passing, and I am so sorry it has been such s long time since then, to share my condolences. I had so many wonderful memories of being with hanging out with Bruce and his sister, Peggy, at their family gone in Chapel Hill, when we were all teenagers. If anyone knows of a way I can reach his sister, Peggy, whom I believe was living in Ohio, and has the last name Steinberg, I would be so grateful if I could get in touch with her. I last saw her in NYC, with her daughter Natalie. I have looked for her many times since. I always had a crush on Bruce, in my youth, and have thought about him many times. I was honored to work with Bruce at Duke. He was always uplifting, gregarious, and incredibly generous. He was my dear friend and mentor, one who truly believed in giving people a fair chance to excel. While I am profoundly sadden by his passing, I am encouraged in the fact that he has left an indelible mark on my career progression. I am immensely grateful.
