Obituary of Deborah Whitfield Dixon

Deborah "Debbie" Whitfield Dixon of Raleigh, NC died surrounded by loved ones on September 19th, 2017. She was 54 years old. Debbie attended Person High School and North Carolina State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree of Business and Economics. She worked for Central Carolina Bank then SunTrust for over 20 years. She loved her family including her "sistahs", and her little dog Chip. She also enjoyed shopping, cosmetics, and music. Many who remember her especially remember her kind heart and gentle spirit. Debbie is survived by her daughters, Erin Michelle Dixon of Carroboro, NC and Holly Dixon Peck and her husband Matthew Alan Peck of Willow Springs, NC. She is also survived by her brother Kent Whitfield and his wife Ann Whitfield of Cary, NC, and sisters Kaye Harris Denbo and husband Ed Denbo of Durham, NC, Regina Carver and her husband George Carver of Durham, NC, and Elaine Wilkerson and her husband Larry Wilkerson of Roxboro, NC and by 8 nieces and nephews. In addition she was predeceased by her brother-in-law William "Bill" Harris. A funeral is scheduled for Sunday September 24th at 2:00 pm at Berry's Grove Baptist Church in Timberlake, NC.
