Obituary of Bobby Evans Gallagher

Mebane, NC - Bobby Evans Gallagher, age 58, of West Ten Rd. Mebane, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home, with his family by his side. Mr. Gallagher was born, May 2, 1958 in West Virginia, to the late Arthur Gallagher and Wanda Odell Gallagher whom survives. Mr. Gallagher attended Durham county schools, and graduated from Hawthorne High School in Florida. He was married for thirty-nine years to Diane Price Gallagher, who was his Durham County school sweetheart. After school he drove a transfer truck and later went to work for Dragados - USA as a heavy equipment operator until he became ill. He cared deeply for his family, friends and his church; New Beginnings Ministries; where he served as an assistant pastor. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Diane Price Gallagher, one daughter, Crystal Gallagher, two sons, Christopher Gallagher and Scott Robinson, four grandsons, one granddaughter, one brother, three sisters, a special niece "Pudding" and several other beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at New Beginnings Ministries; 1998 Hwy. 62 North, Burlington, NC; with Pastor Joel Jackson officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6101 Lebanon Rd. Mebane, NC.
