Obituary of Michael Jean Jackan

Mike Jackan, 43, of Hillsborough, NC, died Friday morning, June 24th, 2016. Mr. Jackan was born in Illinois in 1973 to Joe and Betty Jackan. Mike went to Enloe High School in Raleigh NC. He went to NC State University and UNC at Chapel Hill. Mr. Jackan worked for many years as an Industrial Electrician at Bobby Wilson Electric in RTP. Mike met Janae in 1992 and they married in 1999. His deepest joys were his two children. He was a stay at home dad for the first few years of their lives and continued to share his love of the outdoors with them. Mike is survived by his wife Janae Lehto; his son Alex Jackan; his daughter Anna Jackan; his parents Joe and Betty Jackan; his brother Dale Jackan; his sister Joette Truelove; his mother-in-law Dee Lehto; his brother-in-law Wayne Lehto; sister-in-laws Sandee Lehto and Stephanie Strowd and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The Jackan family will receive family and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, June 28th at Walker's Funeral Home from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
