I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Say for a short period in 1977 when he was a board member of the South Shore Redevelopment Agency in Miami Beach and I was its administrative director. While the agency was consistently mired in political intrigue and trouble, Say was one of the "good guys". His search for workable solutions for all made him unique and special.

I had the privilege to work for Irwin for many years.He was always fair, and would always listen to your side of the story.He took the advice from his employees to heart in how to improve the performance of the restaurant.His leadership will be missed by all those who worked for him.My condolences to his entire family.Mike "Philly"Frank
