Obituary of Roxie Ann Vickers Lassiter

Roxie Ann Vickers Lassiter, 79, of Chapel Hill passed away on August 14, 2016. She was born in Durham, NC on October 3, 1936 to the late Leona Richards Vickers and Allie Vickers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Ernest Lassiter, son, Ernie Lassiter and daughter, Diana Lynn Lassiter. Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Robert Lassiter of Chapel Hill, and Brad Lassiter of Apex; grandchildren, Dustin Gross, Courtney DeWalt, Tyler Lassiter, and, Elana Lassiter; great grandchildren, Kaelynn Spencer and Jayden Lassiter. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill with Rev. Wesley Thomas officiating. The family will receive friend at home from 5 - 7 PM on Tuesday August 16, 2016.
