Obituary of Katie Lee Thomas

Katie Lee Thomas, age 21, passed away August 17, 2016. Katie was born on December 9th, 1994 in Chapel Hill, NC. She attended school in Swansboro, NC, and resided in Efland, NC. Katie was a free spirit. She had a gypsy soul and danced through life to the beat of her own song. She was passionate about modeling and photography and had a smile that could light up the darkest night. Left to cherish her memory are her son Landen Heerick, her mother Angie Thomas of Efland, NC, her father, Jeff Thomas and step-mother, Jane Thomas of Stella, NC, three sisters, Amy Jo Thomas and Leslie Louis of Efland, NC, and Whitney Crabtree of Gibsonville, NC, a brother, Jeffrey Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC, and grandparents, Bill Thomas of Pittsboro, NC, Wesley and Pat Bolick of Hillsborough, NC and Ronald and Kay Johnson of Newport, NC. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
