Obituary of Thomas Alan Shepard

Thomas Alan Shepard, 52, of Snow Camp, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home. Mr. Shepard was born September 15, 1964 in Durham County to Harold Shepard and Linda Benfield, and was the husband of Wendy Williams Shepard. Mr. Shepard owned and operated Shepard Home Improvements for many years, he loved doing yard work, and spending time outdoors, he attended Faith Baptist Church in Mebane, NC. Mr. Shepard is survived by his wife Wendy Shepard, his father Harold Shepard and wife Mickie, his mother, Linda Benfield, three sons: Christopher Shepard, Andrew Shepard, and Nathaniel Shepard, a daughter, Ashlie Shepard Parker, four brothers: Ricky Shepard, Greg Shepard, Nicholas Brooks and Mark Dugan, a sister, Sherri Murray, and two grandchildren: Kiley Shepard and Kaile Shepard. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church, 5100 West Ten Rd. Efland, NC, Pastor Keith Spake officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, prior to the service at Faith Baptist Church. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is honored to assist the Shepard family.
