Hillsborough - Jessie Lee Sechrist, 82, died Thursday, November 10, 2016. He was born in Guilford County to Carrie Young and Montie Lee Sechrist. He moved to Orange County at an early age where he attended Orange County schools. He worked with Wayne McGhee Automotive for many years. He was an avid outdoor person who loved hunting, fishing and auto racing at the Orange County Speedway.
Surviving are his daughter, Debra Whited (Danny), three grandchildren: Jessica Chelenza (Nicholas), Jamie Sechrist (Robin), and Jenny Lopez (Victor), and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, one daughter, two sisters, and five brothers.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Bolick. Visitation will be 12:30-1:50 PM Saturday . At other times the family will receive friends at 4616 High Rock Rd., Efland. Walkersfuneralservice.com
