Obituary of Betty Hayes Sharpe

Hillsborough - Betty Hayes Sharpe died October 20, 2013. She was born December 14, 1925 in Asheboro, NC to Moody T. and Glada Yow Hayes. She retired from the Orange County Tax Supervisor's Office in Hillsborough. She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Sharpe Diana and husband Phil of Lakeland, FL; and son Hayes Sharpe and wife Marian of Matthews, NC; brother-in-law Malcom C. Parnell and sister-in-law Grace Sharpe Parnell of Raleigh, NC; one niece and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, C. Wayland Sharpe; her sister, Mary Ellen Pickard and brother-in-law Morris Glenn Pickard. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 16th at 11 A.M. at the Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
