I miss my Dad very much. He was very outgoing and friendly to everyone. He would help anyone if they needed help. He gave of his time and effort at the Sugar Mill Gardens and was President for a couple of years. He was very proud of what he accomplished there. When he first started working as a volunteer, it was a run down overgrown park. He helped with many other volunteers to clean it up, help rebuild the sugar mill and even helped set up the outdoors wedding chapel. It is helping the Sugar Mill Gardens make enough money for its upkeep now. He always enjoyed giving tours and making the visitors laugh. He and our mother also worked for the Red Cross. They would be called at a moment's notice to open a shelter during Hurricane Season. After our Mother passed, Dad moved from Florida in 2014 to be closer to our sister Heather in North Carolina. I really wish I could have gone to say goodbye but personal circumstances occurred around the same time. However, I did call him every week to catch up and see what was going on and how he was doing. We always made sure we said we love each other before hanging up.
Love always Dad,
