Obituary of Henry Clay Sheppard

HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Henry Clay Sheppard, Jr., 82, of Hurdle Mills, died June 29, 2012. He was a native of Virginia and raised in the town of Charlotte Court House. He retired from Piedmont Electric after 40 years of service. He cared and provided for his family. Surviving are his wife, Louise Rimmer Sheppard; two daughters: Connie S. McClean (Frank), FL, and Angela S. Scarborough (Cliff), Burlington; two sons: Jerry S. Sheppard (Pat), Hurdle Mills, and Gary S. Sheppard, Hurdle Mills; three sisters: Sally S. Conklin, Burlington, Jeanette S. Johnson (Henry), Burlington, and Joanne S. Cates (Herbert), Hurdle Mills; one brother, John Billy Sheppard (Linda), Hurdle Mills; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Berry's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
