Kenneth and I send our sympathy for the loss of "Jake" to his entire family. Lottie was a wonderful ray of sunshine in my first employment in 1954 at BCBS. LaRue has been a friend for many years. Steve's friendship and helpfulness brings a smile every time we meet. And Jake was once our insurance agent, but, most of all, our friend, nearly all our lives. We have been fortunate to know him and his family. Ruth and Kenneth Vickers.

Carolyn and I send abiding condolences to the Hardee family. We have enjoyed knowing, and respecting him for 48 years. He became a deputy about the same time as I became a judge. He was a first class deputy, knew the county extremely well and knew people even better. We often saw him at the K & W cafeteria, and enjoyed him every time. Stanley Peele
