Obituary of James Ellis Morgan

PERSON James Ellis Morgan ROXBORO — James Ellis Morgan, 85, died Sunday morning, October 27, 2013, in Person County Memorial Hospital. A resident of Roxboro, he was retired from the University of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his wife, Mallie May Morgan. He is survived by a brother, Billy Morgan of Chapel Hill; a sister-in-law, Annie Lee Pendergrass of Chapel Hill; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 at Bethel Baptist Church, Chapel Hill, N.C. by the Rev. Cameron Currin. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
