Obituary of Lydia Crawford

Lydia Terrell Crawford, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into Heaven on Tuesday February 9th, 2021. She was 94 years old. Lydia spent her life taking care of everyone from her patients at Yancy Rest Home leading to the many friends and family at the Skateland roller rink to the Schley Community Store where she had the best hotdogs hot and ready. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Lydia is survived by her four adoring children, Yvonne Privette, Ronnie Crawford wife Myra, Keith Crawford wife Garlene, Melody Dees husband Robert, Ten (10) Grandchildren, Twenty-six (26) Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sibling Donnie Terrell. Lydia is proceeded in death by husband Bobby Crawford, Mother and Father Levi and Myrtle Terrell, Siblings Annie Lee Terrell, James Terrell, Mildred McPherson, and Evelyn Garner, Great Grandson Dylan Michael Hogan.

The Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11th from 11-12 at Walkers Funeral Home in Hillsborough.   A Funeral service will follow at 12noon at the Walker Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside burial service at New Sharon Methodist Church.

Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the family.
