Ed was an avid golfer and played in many leagues over the years. He currently enjoyed weekly golf outings with a wonderful group of friends who played courses throughout central North Carolina. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Beverly and other family and friends, working in his yard, reading, completing crossword and Sudoku puzzles and eating Beverly’s cooking!
Ed is survived by his adored wife of 34 years, Beverly (Courtney) and his children, Elizabeth Walters of Jupiter, FL; Bryan (Jen) Robertson of Newville PA; Greg (Susan) Robertson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Lori (Ken) McCarthy of Lake Park, FL; Allen (Jarumi) Sliter of Fayetteville, NC; and Erin (Aaron) Baumgardner of Bend, OR. “For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. … I will let you find me, says the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.” Jeremiah 29: 11-14
