Obituary of Gilbert Whitted Ray

Gilbert Whitted ("Ted") Ray, Jr., 70, of Fayetteville, North Carolina died Wednesday, November 28, 2012. A graveside service is planned at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Hillsborough, North Carolina at 2pm on Saturday, December 1st and a memorial service will be held Sunday, December 2nd at 2pm at St. Michael's Maronite Church, 806 Arsenal Avenue, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A reception will follow the memorial service on December 2nd at the Church. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Whitted Ray and Carolyn Miller Ray of Fayetteville and his children Kathryn Ray Ashford and Gilbert Whitted Ray, III. He is survived by his sisters Margaret R. Blaine of Toronto, Ontario and Martha R. Averitt of Lumberton, North Carolina and nieces and nephew.
