Paula and I were walking partners for 10 years at the UNC Wellness Center. Her spirit was and is one of kindness, caring, sharing and loving. In the photos we were co-Aunties for another walking partner's little girl and on New Years Eve 2015 toasting the new year with John. We shared recipes, photo scrapbooking skills and tips, hundreds of miles walked together conversing on any and all topics, yoga classes and shopping trips and more. She is one of the best and most comfortable people I have known in this life. Her spirit will live on within me (and others) for all the good she shared with us and the world. Shine in heaven, my friend!

We are fellow members of the Carolina Jaguar Club where we met Paula and John. We will miss her very much. We had hoped to do many more things with Paula and John in the coming years. She was a wonderful person and we feel fortunate to have had some time with her.
