Obituary of Beatrice Feinberg Serotkin

Beatrice (Feinberg) Serotkin of Chapel Hill passed away on November 7, 2020 at age 100.   She had been a resident of Carolina Meadows in Chapel Hill since 2008.

She and her husband, Louis, retired to Chapel Hill in 1976, after spending their lives in Dover, N.J.  Both were educators, Bea a home economics teacher and Lou a school principal.  In North Carolina, they created an entire second life, enjoying the college town environment and becoming active in Judea Reform Congregation, Durham.

Beatrice graduated from Drexel University in 1941. After graduation she worked for a milk processing company, visiting local groups to promote the health of pasteurized milk.

Bea is survived by her children, Marva Serotkin, Newton, Mass. and Paul Serotkin, and his wife Debi Dulberg, Lexington, Mass.; and granddaughters Melissa Serotkin, Washington. D.C., and Sophie Dulberg, Houston, TX.
