Cathy was one of my dearest friends. We met when our husbands were both residents at Boston City Hospital on the Harvard service. We used to create fabulous gourmet dinners that we planned for weeks that were paired with great wines. Even though I settled in New Mexico and Cathy in North Carolina, we stayed in touch and visited one another - always remembering each other's July birthday. I am honored to have called Cathy my friend - and am stilled blessed having known her.
