I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter, verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you & yours. I am very sad to hear of Jim's passing. We worked together for many years at BCBSNC and retired at the same time in 2014. I have many fond memories of Jim's joke telling and positive attitude. He loved to talk about this twin sister (his womb mate) and his wonderful family. My sincere condolences to Mary John, Jennifer, John and family. Jim was a real sweetheart. We will all miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I have never known a more kind and generous person than him. He was always extremely helpful and fun to work with on the numerous projects we worked on together at Blue Cross. I worked with Jim in Finance for over 24 years. Jim always began our conversations with a joke followed by a chuckle and a smile. Jim was definitely the cost accounting guru with a wealth of knowledge on so many subjects. He spoke of Mary Jo and his children with such love and pride. Mary Jo you and the family are in my prayers.

After working for many years at BCBSNC I met Jim when my area was moved to Accounting. He was my new manager. He made me feel like I had known him forever. He was very fair and helpful as my manager and it was just a short time I considered him a good friend. I remember one time he invited all his employees to his house for lunch. We met his sweet wife and enjoyed a excellent meal. He dearly loved his family and we heard his joy in them by his stories many days. I'm afraid I was very gullible to his many jokes but you couldn't get mad at him. I knew it when he would give that little grin. My love and prayers to his family and know many happy memories are being shared with his heavenly family. God bless and keep you all.

Jim was my all time favorite manager and a wonderful co-worker and friend. He was my mentor in Accounting. There was noone more positive, caring and generous then Jim and he did everything with his great sense of humor. I have lost my Diabetes buddy. Jim was a business user on my team while I worked at BCBSNC. He and I became friends when we worked on an unusually difficult project. Our team received an award for the speedy delivery of the solution. All I said was how do you lose when you have Jim helping to define the problem and the design.
