Even though my time knowing Vito was relatively short, I know how he can be so loved by many. As a coworker of Athena, I will always remember him as a "man bearing many gifts". While helping establish her business, he was always showing up with lunch, flowers, or new office decor! What a beautiful tribute, to a life well lived.

I had the privilege to work with Vito many years ago at Vacation Adventures , he was so wonderful to work with. We lost touch for a short while but when they moved back to Myrtle Beach was hoping to reconnect. This was a person that it seemed would always be in your life. So now we will be friends in our next life. I never got the pleasure to meet Athena new Susan very well, and I can say they took wonderful care of Mr. Vito! And I wish I could of been there to help. He will be missed dearly.

Vito and I met in the summer of 1969. we were selling ladies shoes in downtown Philadelphia. We soon realized that our interest was not so much shoes but in the ladies that were coming in to buy them.we instantly became friends then roommates,then family, and remained close for the next almost 50 years.. Many years ago we were talking about death and he said he would like a party,a celebration. I said , not me. When I go I want everyone screaming and crying. we had a good laugh. There are so many memories it would take weeks to share. It wasn't until later in life that we both found our soulmates. That brings me to Athena.She always has shown everlasting love and was always there for him even when his family was not.Through his illness with the support of her sister Cara, and Vito's sister Carla, Athena made sure he was never abandoned and never alone. Terry and I will not forget this.I am not good at this sort of thing and I have many feelings and emotions I just cant put into words.I Love Vito and his spirit will always be in my heart and the circle will always remain unbroken.

Vito was so kind, generous and helpful to me during my time as a food reporter in Myrtle Beach, both personally and professionally. He taught me how to eat sushi! Most of all we had a blast together. My deepest condolences to Athena, family and friends.
