Dot & Clyde what a dyynamic couple. I met them thru Millbrook Baptist in Aiken, & very faithful members they were. They were traveling on I20 & saw the Aiken exit , ended up buying a house & joined our church. I think on the first service they attended_____ our Wednesday night suppers had ended because the volunteers were tired & had done them for quite awhile. They took on the task & Wedesday suppers became super suppers. We had teams, meal plans, parties & they were usually always there. They were selfless in their ministries at Millbrook. A wonderful christian couple that I look forward to seeing in heaven. They both were always up to the task of serving our Lord wherever he placed them. Farewell my dear friends you have gotten your wings & halos. I loved you both, Love Nancy Bolin

Clyde Martin In Memoriam Clyde Martin was a dear and beloved member of our family. We first met him when he hosted us for dinner at his home in Alexandria, Virginia in the mid 1990’s when my twin Donald and his daughter Julia had begun their courtship. I remember him then as I do now, as a true Christian gentleman who was very kind and of good humor. We had many good times with Clyde and Dot and our family together including at Donald and Julia’s wedding in Edgefield, SC, and in Virginia Beach where Donald and Julia lived and where Ali and Caroline grew up, and later in Aiken, South Carolina at Thanksgiving hosted by Clyde and Dorothy Martin. We will always remember Clyde as a Veteran and member of “The Greatest Generation” and as a wonderful, generous, Christian, Southern Gentleman. May he Rest in Peace in God’s Heaven. Ronald E.
