Viola (Vi) Wall Mensch Traxel, 102, of Hillsborough, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
Vi was born June 17, 1916, to the late Hubert and Ada Wall. She was predeceased by her eight (8) siblings, and her husbands, Don Mensch and Jack Traxel.

Vi was a lover of all people, especially family and every child she ever met. She loved to laugh, and to make others laugh, she was never happier then during the time she spent with friends
and family. Her time at Atlantic Beach, eating a cone of ice cream, and taking walks - all gave her enormous joy.
She leaves behind, a host of nieces and nephews including Helen Crumpler, Kay Johnson, Jean Huff (Ralph), Sharon Wood (Russ), Dan Byrum (Ellen), and Don Gower (Pam). Additionally,
many great nieces and nephews. Her special friend Helen Kitchens, along with Joan, Nancy and Eddie, will miss her greatly. Also, she leaves behind her neighborhood friends including
Jan, Gerrie, and Mable.
