He it is 2019 I am reading the ECU Magazine. In reading I find that George is no longer with us. What a shock! George roomed with a group of us at ECU. He and Debbie were such a fun couple. I am embarrassed to think I did not keep up with them over the years. Looks like from the video, that George had a great family and life. Stan

Hi Stan, I just saw your tribute to George. It was quite a shock to us as well. He was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. 2018 and died in JUly. I think of that group from ECU a lot. You were all a fun buch of guys. How are you and Al? Deb Goldbeck

There was always some mischieviousness in his bright blue eyes along with great humor and kindness. I loved seeing him with Debbie and John and Kathy and always thought how fortunate everyone in that group was to have those relationships still going strong after decades of love and friendship. This is a vast loss and my heart is with George and all his girls and loved ones. ❤

Debbie and family, I am so saddened by the loss of my good friend George. I always enjoyed hanging out, laughing and kidding around with him.
