Oh, my - I was searching for information on former healthcare providers to fill in gaps in my records, and I was saddened to find this obituary. Meg was my therapist during the short time I lived near Chapel Hill (1997-1999), working on a Master's degree at UNC. I have only positive memories of my discussions with her. She was perceptive, kind, and patient, always a calming presence. I doubt I could have fought through all the daily stresses to finish my degree without her counsel. I'm sorry I can't say this to her personally, but I hope my words reinforce for her loved ones what I'm sure they already knew: Meg touched many lives with her work, and helped at least this young (at the time) woman to win enough battles against depression and anxiety that she was able to accomplish what she set out to achieve.
My condolences to Meg's family and friends, even at this late date. Grief doesn't really go away with time in my experience, even though it eventually gets easier to manage. I wish you all peace.
(P.S.: I'm also from Virginia - my roots are in Roanoke and Botetourt counties. If I had known that Kemper was Meg's family name, I probably would have asked her if we might be distantly related: my maternal grandmother was a Camper, which name her ancestor anglicized from Kemper when he immigrated to Virginia from Germany sometime before the Revolutionary War. I'm not exactly a genealogy buff, but I do find such connections interesting.)

Michael, Will and Susan, I have so many fond memories of living on Creekstone Drive and certainly the yearly Christmas parties that Meg put together. But most of all, the kitten that Russell grabbed from a box at your house, the kitten that became Precious, our wonderful child-cat. Meg was a lovely lady in every way, remembered fondly. With best wishes...sara claytor

Michael,
It was with great sadness that we saw news of Meg's passing today. It has been some years since we have seen either one of you, but we both remember both of you with great fondness. The beautiful obituary reflects the loving, generous and positive energy that we felt with her. With sympathy, Sonna and Norm Loewenthal

Truly Margaret was a beautiful person both on the outide and more importantly inside. I offer my sincere condolence, but its the fond memories that you shared that will comfort to your heart. Also let the promises made by GOD soothe you as you gain the strength and inner peace to cope with the days ahead.
God promised that those in the memorial tombs will be resurrected. (John 5:28,29) that he will do away Death, sorrow, and pain (Revelation 21:4) and that we will live forever here on earth in abudance of peace. (Psalm 37:11,29) jw.org
