Artist and professor William Goodson Mangum of Chapel Hill passed away peacefully on December 30, 2013.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Ariana Mangum of Chapel Hill; five children, Margaret Ariana Mangum, William Preston Mangum, Alice Mangum Perry, Laura Mangum Wissa, and Grace Elizabeth Mangum; and granddaughter, Celia.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Chapel Hill.
