I only met Michael once -- at Rhonda's wedding. But from that memory, along with the many stories I enjoyed hearing from Rhonda over the years, I could tell Michael was creative and very bright, bigger than life, had the satisfaction of living his way and was very loved by his sisters. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Rhonda, Ann, and Kristen.

My deepest condolences to your loss. Mick was a unique spirit - a type that one is lucky to encounter if only once in their lifetime. We spoke a few times on the phone - some about cars, mostly about people and the 'real' world's issues. Although we never met in the flesh, I miss his presence in this world already, and take solace knowing that we will still shake hands one day. I am yet another of those he helped out, both with automotive related issues and personal stuff as well on the Turbobricks site. He was always willing to lend an ear, and offer up his advice. He likely had no idea just how many people he affected just in our online community itself. I only wish I was closer to his place to be able to have met him and have a cold one while discussing life in general. He will be solemnly missing in our community online. My condolences to the family. He was a good man online, and I can imagine an even better one in person. Thank you for everything Michael!

Michael, or "TrickMick" as i know him, was an awesome guy! I first saw him on the Volvo website Turbo Bricks. every time anyone needed help with anything, whether it be a part or wiring advice or anything, he was always the first to help. in a time where so many people like to keep to themselves, he would go out of his way to help someone out. He was extremely respected in the Volvo world, having helped countless "brickers" day in and day out. I really wish i had talked more with him and spent time with him, because he definitely seems like the type of person that you should go out of your way to keep in your life. I give my condolences to his family and friends, and know that everyone over on turbobricks will miss not only his knowledge of, well, everything, but we will miss his extreme kindness.
