Obituary of James Melvin McCullough

Hillsborough - Mr. James Melvin McCullough, 59, died Friday, January 10, 2014. James "Mule Man" McCullough was born in Durham County. He graduated from Orange High School class of 1972. He worked at Weck as a forger and at Vietri until his illness. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his daughter, Kristina "Sissy" McCullough, Hillsborough; his son, Michael McCullough (Kari), Clayton; his sister, Sherry McCullough (David), Hillsborough; four grandchildren: Xavier McCullough, Aireana Burch, Breanna Davis, and Alexander McCullough; two nieces: Tonya McCullough and Michelle Miller; and one grand niece, Hadley Parker. He was predeceased by his parents, Melvin "Pete" and Marie Kennedy McCullough. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Monday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel.
