Obituary of Charles Leroy Alexander

HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Charles Leroy Alexander, 72, died Thursday, January 30, 2014. He was a native of Union County and was a graduate of Belmont High School. He worked in the trucking industry for 35 years, as terminal manager and later worked for the Orange County ABC Board until retirement. Surviving are his wife, Louise Jones Alexander, his daughter, Barbara McCall Capps (Jimmy), Chapel Hill, two grandchildren: Brittainee Capps Edmond (Jason), Apex and Bryce McCall Capps, Wilmington, one great grandson, Eastyn Edmond, and one sister, Martha Eubanks, Belmont. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Alexander. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Monday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bruce Brown. Visitation will be 1-2:15 PM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. Walkersfuneralservice.com
