Obituary of Minnie Durham Dixon

" Dixon, Minnie D, 94. Our beloved Mother, GrandMother, Great-GrandMother, and Great-Great, GrandMother went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Born on May 20, 1919, she was a life long resident of Carrboro & Orange County. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Andrews (Billy Wayne), Billie Ragan, Donna Hearne, nine GrandChildren, thirteen Great-GrandChildren, one Great-Great-GrandChild, and a very special cousin, Etta L. Daniel (Luther). She was predeceased by her husband Johnnie E. Dixon and her mother Lessie Durham, brothers Bill and Tom Durham. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Walkers Funeral Home in Chapel Hill from 6pm-8pm. Graveside services will be performed by Reverend Mark Hall at Westwood Cemetary on Thursday, Feburary 6, 2014 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UNC Hospice-Pittsboro, P.O.
