Obituary of Robin Britt

CHAPEL HILL Robin Noel Britt died peacefully at home on April 25, 2014. She was born in Richmond, VA. on July 14, 1951. She lived in the Tidewater, VA. area before moving to N.C. with her family in her late teens. Robin graduated from Meredith College with an art degree. She was married to Bob Britt for 32 years, and together they operated Merritt's Grill in Chapel Hill for the past 22 years. Robin is survived by her husband, Bob Britt of the home, her parents, Sam and Frances Noel of Wilmington, N.C., her sons, Robert and fiance Emily Wipper of Boston, MA., Charles and wife Megan of Charlotte, N.C., sisters, Tracy Sullivan and husband Scott of Wilmington, N.C., Nancy May and husband Russ of Wilmington, N.C., sister in law and brother in law, Harriett and Tony Carter of Wilmington, NC, brother in law and sister in law, John and Linda Britt of Chapel Hill. There will be a celebration of life service on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 3:00PM at Aqueduct Conference Center, in Chapel Hill, N.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or UNC Hospice care.
